Auftrag.app supports two factor authentication using software and hardware authenticators. We strongly encourage you to make use of this functionality.
Software Authenticators
Auftrag.app supports any software TOTP authenticator, such as Authy, Google Authenticator, FreeOTP and many more.
Our TOTP authentication uses the following parameters: 30s time period, SHA1 hash algo, 6 digits. Any authenticator software capable of calculating TOTP with these parameters will be compatible with Auftrag.app.
Hardware Authenticators
Auftrag.app supports authentication using the WebAuthn Standard. You'll be able to secure your account with any WebAuthn compatible device, such as a YubiKey, Android Smartphones with Fingerprint scanners, Apple FaceID or TouchID, Windows Hello and more.
